checking off items on the ATL bucket list, we finally visited Cracker Barrel for the first and last time. It was actually really good – kinda dissapointed I never went before. Totally my kinda place. And Nyla and Kylie got into the southern lifestyle with a game of checkers and a rocker on the porch.
another 1st birthday – they are so cute. Especially baby Oliver. And his awesome globe shaped cake. And his super cool bubble filled birthday party. Happy 1st Birthday Oliver!
back at home after another 10 day trip. Good to be home. Exhausted though. But with three girls, no rest for the weary.
aparently this hotel was like the place to be 100 years ago. It is pretty cool now too. The most interesting thing for me though is the door nobs. So big, intricate, elaborate and unique. A little bit difficult to use, but worth the trouble. Don’t know if I’ll ever stay here again, but like it very much at the Palace.
kinda describes today. What a mess. I guess that’s just the way it’s gonna be.
the restaurant right under my window is a sausage joint. My kinda food. It is also the Tenderloin here in SF which is pretty sketchy. But had to pay them a visit and it was fantastic. And this seat rocks. 300 degree view of the world around me while I eat my italian sausage.
back in SF in my favorite hotel which somehow ends up being the cheapest Starwood property in the city (except for the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf which doesn’t count as a real hotel). They gave me a great room (not this one) and I’m sure I’ll take a picture of it eventually, but today is the place I had breakfast – can’t think of a better place indoors to have breakfast really!
the Bay Area is beautiful pretty much everywhere you go. This is shot from a random pull off on 280. What is amazing about this shot though is not the woods or the lake or the mountains or the sea – it is that I was able to grab a shot of 280 with not a single car on it. THAT is amazing.
decided to do some sunset shots at the Pacific slightly north of Half Moon Bay. Just my luck, a gigantic wave came out of now where, drenched me and my camera, and obviously ruined my day. It may have ruined my camera too – it turns on now, but gives me this error and guessing it is going back to canon again 😦
