apparently you aren’t cool if you don’t drink Patron. And since you are cool if you don’t stay in an W hotel, naturally a bottle of Patron will be waiting for you in your room at the W hotel. That’s it.

well, the startup we are working on has officially been outed. Wonolo, which stands for Work Now Locally is the cover story of the Atlanta Business Chronicle. No one cooperated with the story but they did a pretty amazing job of researching it and trying to figure it out on their own. Not sure it was cover story material but whatever. Anyway, if you are interested, please go sign up at wonolo.com!

239/365 atlanta on business

my first time back in ATL since leaving this city. My first business trip to Atlanta since 2007. So finally get to stay in a hotel here. In the W midtown which is cheaper than Holiday Inn middle of nowhere in SF. Definitely miss the cost of living down here.

238/365 america’s airport

one night stop for meeting in DC (Bethesda really). Flew in to Reagan / National which is a small but absolutely beautiful airport. And so close to the monuments and everything – I wish they could find a way to put Dulles out of business – this airport is so much better in every way. Anyway, took a picture here for my first 365 2 years ago but never saw this giant American flag, so decided to feature this one today.

237/365 lil’ sailor

walked by the semi finals of the America’s Cup today. What a bomb. Touted as the biggest thing to come to SF, they were basically begging people to come and watch for free. We stopped by and they had a cool kids area where Nyla got to hoist her first sail. She seemed like a natural born sailor – we’ll have to find a way to get her out on the water next time.

235/365 la taqueria

found a fantastic Mexican place in SF and since my Mom is in town, we all took a trip over. Fortunately, it was a Coke place, although they did have some fresh strawberry juice thing which was probably one of the best drinks I have ever had (after Coca-Cola of course).

236/365 tomales bay oysters

took what I thought would be a 30min drive and ended up being 80min to the Tomales Bay Oyster Company. I don’t eat oysters, but we BBQed some other good food and had a great day there with some friends. Nice to feel summer-type weather every so often as well.
