flew up to Pittsburgh to meet with the Heinz team and they took us to their suite in Heinz field (of course it is on the 50 yard line in the field they named). It was the last week of preseason so a lot of starters didn’t even play but the players that were on the field tried their hardest and Pittsburgh eked out a win with a goal line stand with two minuted left. I guess I could cheer for Pittsburgh since Marino is from here. Anyway, I ate so much food that I am pretty sure tomorrow is going to be a tough day…
we knew Nyla was addicted. And Toshimi as well. But now Kylie too? This is the new normal – family bonding in 2012.
yes, that is a London Olympic Torch. Yes, I am just chilling in an empty meeting room with it drinking a Coke. Yes, I only borrowed it and put it back where I found it. It was surprisingly light and uncomfortable to hold btw.
its been a while since I posted a Coca-Cola photo I think. So ran out to the top of the hill tonight with a glass and caught one of the infrequent colorful summer evening skies tonight. It’s hard to take a bad shot of a Coke!
went on a ride up in the crazy zigzag roads of the North Georgia Mountains today. Took my A3 up with a Nismo 370Z and a Supercharged Jaguar XF, both of which have twice the horsepower, much better wheels, brakes, balance, and basically everything that makes my car look like a joke. Good thing that I am the superior driver 😉 Got smoked through the turns when my wheels, struts, and brakes all got pushed over the limit and it kinda got scary. Pulled back after that – next time I need to bring (get) a better car.
today was Ella’s 3rd BDay party. She is Nyla’s best friend. They apparently love to hug each other.
we all love soft pretzels. But if we were going to eat them at home, that would usually consist of opening the freezer and sticking the frozen pretzel in the microwave for 30 seconds. And that is plenty delicious. But we decided to go from scratch this time. End result, good, but I think I’ll stick to the 30 second microwave version in the future.
yesterday Claudia made her way towards the exit sign. A final farewell as she moves on to bigger and better things in Europe. Have fun Claudia, enjoy living in an awesome country, and teach those Europeans how to collaborate and behave!
Didn’t bring my big camera to work today but as I drove by the tracks, they were empty which rarely happens, so had to grab the s100, stop the car, and grab a shot.
