338/365 safety training

so yeah, we work in the ghetto. The Tenderloin to be precise – but it is the least glamorous part of San Francisco. Drug dealers, prostitutes, crazies, robbers, lots of homeless, and oh yeah, a murder (during broad daylight) two days ago literally right outside our window. Anyway, the commanding officer of the Tenderloin PD came in to talk to us about how the neighborhood is being dealt with, how to handle ourselves here, and what we can do to help. It was very interesting. I haven’t had any problems yet (knocking on wood…) but some others coworking space-mates have been harassed, mugged, or worse… 😦
