Today was Nyla’s first Easter Egg Hunt. She was in the 0-3 year olds group with about 200 other kids. And she couldn’t care less about Easter Eggs. We had to go grab this egg and wait for all the other kids to move on and then put it back and finally coerce Nyla to go pick it up. She never smiled once and kept taking off her bunny ears… Oh well – it was a beautiful day and we found a cool new park too – so it all worked out.

So I have 7 keyboards in my house. 6 of them are Mac keyboards, all 7 of them are Japanese. 2 of them are attached to the laptops they are a part of, so not sure if they really count as keyboards. Anyway, I just got home for the worst week at work every year and had nothing to take a picture of and didn’t want to think of something either. So, grabbed a keyboard, insured that the keys that most of you have never seen before were visible (the right and left of the space bar) took a shot and here you go.

103/365 betteronpaper

Ever have one of those situations when the concept is great but the execution fails to meet expectations? Welcome to #103. I had a brief flash of genius and but didn’t have the patience, time, or ability to bring that idea to life. So, I ended up with this. Better than a picture of just a white table I guess, but not making Daddy proud.

So, since I am cooped up in the W the entire week for meetings (but don’t even get the pleasure of staying there over night) I decided to dedicate some/most/all of this week’s pics to the building I am spending the majority of my days to. It is a cool looking building and the clouds reflected looked nice too. The far end of the roof is where I took this picture yesterday.

So I have wanted to get on the Ernst & Young rooftop for a year now and have not gotten very far in that quest. However, today I got something nearly as good – the roof of the W Hotel next door. This wasn’t my favorite picture (it was my wife’s favorite though) but you get a sense of the height compared to the Ernst & Young building – much higher. In fact, too high for the shot I wanted, but still awesome to get up there, feel the wind, and be somewhere where I know not many other photographers have been. BTW, you are looking uptown from downtown at midtown Atlanta 🙂

still only 27% through the 365 project, but since 100 is a special day (finally in the triple digits!) I decided to commemorate the number with chocolate. Kit Kat, Oreo, York Peppermint Patty, and a circle of Reese’s Pieces. Couldn’t resist and sorry to say the Peppermint Patty didn’t make it through the photo shoot intact…
