Today is March 3rd which means it is hina matsuri (お雛祭り)in Japan. That is Japanese Doll Festival according to Wikipedia, but it is basically the day when girls get to celebrate their special dolls that are kinda scary looking and really expensive. Well I am sure there is a proper tradition and purpose, I just don’t know it. Anyway, baby Nyla couldn’t care less at this point although she was better behaved with them than I expected. We only have two, the emperor and empress I guess, and this is the empress. Tonight she goes back in her box for another 360 days or so until next year…

Last year we won this gold Clio along with 7 other awards throughout the year – but the Clio was coolest. We won it for the Happiness Machine, part of our idea of Where Will Happiness Strike Next? (wwhsn?). Last Tuesday we launched the follow up video to last year’s Happiness Machine, the Happiness Truck. It is off to a good start and we’ll see if it can carry on the award winning traditions of its big brother. If you haven’t seen / shared the videos, check them out below:

Home at last. Spent 14 hours in the plane from Moscow to Atlanta including 1.5 hours dealing with some drunk unruly Russian guy who we had to bring back to the gate and unload. This picture was a shot about 30 minutes after liftoff which captures the Russian landscape (flat and snowy) and a view of the sky which reminds me of the view of earth from outer-space. Now it is bedtime – I am truly exhausted…
